Jamie Dewyer Poems

his eyes mine line
this face for what
worth is forward
blood and sweat spent
...

time to speak
from below the breaches
the seaweed wraps the scarlet
leeches
...

you said prayers backwards into dust
and formed a circle of untrust
you rusted when the rain came down
from spouts inside your lies
...

this gift to map ages with whispers from sages that breathe in my skeloton
stings like a curse

her hands are made Porcelain
...

this seance is all that is holding us up from
the water that has come through the door
...

now to see birth again
frightened at first and forever till death us part
wings that get torn apart
flown into suns and to ashes a phoenix can
...

7.

these bells toll deep, hushed still, the minds a waste
overt and cognitive only to be disgraced
your laugh, your fathers laugh
your faint attempt to pass
...

her dead pennies name these wounds
numbered, instructed to
bind, as a catalyst
into the drain
...

this mask i fear
is wearing me
inside out in atrophy
but please release this cobalt ice
...

the palace of contempt was wrought
naught with these veins the eyes had saught
your feral knowlege of this force-feild
i can't spell well
...

mean me have the glass now so it's true
cuts to save to shave the fatal few
your eyes rewind inside sober stares
i inside my eyes are fulla fear
...

The end of the world
And a siren left for my name
These reaches seething with
Fortune and with fame
...

I will have the same she said
The same bleak road the same shrill head
The same entangled whiskey dust
The parabola into rust
...

This is the farthest I’ve fallen
Through barren dreams
Dust settles on my slaves
Waves stain my offerings
...

with these small steps
away from
going out into
and coming back home again
...

she
hangs on a violin string
violent
rings
...

peace with you goes
the window shows
another side
of lies
...

above this small stone, in the great black unknown
is a meteor
the size of the moon
...

19.

this rain
like music without meter
cold and almost ice
but not yet
...

what lasts after
faith is severed
save me from her
soft white offer
...

The Best Poem Of Jamie Dewyer

The Jackal

his eyes mine line
this face for what
worth is forward
blood and sweat spent

i fire two shots
he falls down slow
graceful to fault
whats left i know

the carcuss has fuel
we must move on
meat to bait winter
thrust to trudge on

2

her spirt is vapour
these lines we walk ancient
these stones set in situ
exactly as always
