Convulsions Of The Lifeless Soul Poem by Iris Mista

Convulsions Of The Lifeless Soul

Convulsions of the lifeless soul
almost unnoticed
behind the veils of dimmed shades

From the dark into the light
it is barely possible
to regain sight

Therefore only gleams
still vague and obtuse
yet, almost too bright
for the soul to see

A short glimpse emerged
briefly beheld with wonder
until it slowly disappeared
in the dark shadows
of a moonless night
