Come Before I Sleep Poem by Quasir Hassan

Come Before I Sleep

Rating: 4.0

Thy 'Adieu', carried a storm and wrecked my ships.
COME! blossoms too failed to withstand and turned to ashes!

I starve for a glimpse of thy shadow, to revive my being
For i ceased to live, yet i survive.

How shall these flowering gardens enthral the one like me?
Whose spring of youth is bruised with arrows of autumn!

The moment thee sipped the elixer of death....
A ghastly cloudlet gloomed my star-studded sky!

Thy 'Adieu' crushed my joys and left me numb
COME! my tears smell blood now, COME!
