Coffee Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Coffee

Rating: 5.0

Sipping hot coffee
from my favorite gray mug
today I feel fine
with my pyjamas, I’m snug.

Nothing is a bother
today we have good weather
I feel like a pearl
I swim in my caffeine spiral.

One cup is enough
but my coffee’s almost over
we only live one life anyway
might as well sip another.

Amazingly, coffee is a staple that has been around as long as I have known myself. I have the fond memories of its aroma permeating the house come each dawn. Just to hear it mentioned still gives a warm feeling. Enjoyed this. 10
