Cleansing Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Cleansing

Rating: 5.0

Some one says "it is purging"
Someone calls it as" ethnic cleansing"
Simple way of extermination
An end of human bond and relation

Has religion helped us in any way?
The answer may be simple no in all the way
We are divided over the origin of religion
The population is scattered over all regions

Tears fall each time I hear about carnage
The news papers are full of such stories on page
Who will justify such madness?
Is it not the reflection of our cruel face?

Why do not we allow the free propagation?
Its free adoption and practice of religion
Why do we take it as an affront or insult?
When we have learnt about tolerance inbuilt!

Now new cult has emerged in African continent
Someone says it is cruelest movement
Killing and kidnapping innocent school girls
I think this is most unfortunate turn

The world may not end with gruesome murders
It will never establish new order
It will only warrant new brand of annihilation
The worst kind of banishment and colonization
