Christmas Poem by Barbara Culbertson

Christmas

Did you know Christmas is almost here
Can you feel the crispness in the air
The hustle & bustle all through the town
All the little kids jumping up & down
The lights on the trees are twinkling bright
Waiting for the shimmer of the new snow to light
All the bright presents are under the tree
Waiting for the whole family to come & see
All the smiles on the faces begins to glow
As the warmth inside continues to flow
Now the wrappings & bows are on the floor
With all the kids hoping that there were more
As the night settles down to a close
All the little boys & girls begin to doze
Now that the very special day ends
Merry Christmas to all of my family & friends
