Christianity Introspective Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Christianity Introspective

Rating: 5.0

God gave His cherished son, the Lord Jesus Christ
Sacred spirit who suffered for Mankind's salvation
As the sacrificial lamb dying to save the faithful
From the temptations and bribes from the Devil.
Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss to the High priest's guards
And was rewarded with thirty pieces of silver for his infamy.
Jesus was handed over to the Romans for trial and death
Was whipped and crowned with thorns, and nailed to a cross
Crucified between two thieves as a common criminal
Called out to God to forgive his executioners.
Died and was entombed and on the third day
He rose from the dead and met with his disciples.
After forty days ascended to his Father in Heaven
Promising that all who believe in him shall never die.

As an evangelist I know all the words here too well, BUT you wrote a most fantastic Summing up about Jesus who was born in Bethlehem and crossed on Golgotha and after three days arisen from the dead. This makes Him The Almighty! 5 Stars full on Top!
