Choose Your Words Like Flowers Poem by Patti Masterman

Choose Your Words Like Flowers

Rating: 5.0

Choose your words like flowers
Found on a woodland walk;
Use pastels just for color
In the fields, of talk.

Their petals, soft and gentle
Their hearts, so bright and wide;
Still holding all their fragrance,
Most delicate, inside.

Choose your words like flowers
Picked on some sunny day,
And you'll never lack for friends,
Whatever weathers say.

choose your words like flowers... if we all did this, we'd ALL be so much better off and more attentive to beauty and care and the delicacy of the human ego. For me this is not only a poem of beauty, but also one of respect and care. Love it! Thanks Patti - Pam (Jette)

Oh Patti, these are pretty words indeed. I will carry a bouquet of kind words with me from now on. I think I feel a smile coming on......
