Cheerfulness Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Cheerfulness

Cheerfulness is a virus that contaminates
Surrounding all in wondrous pleasant air
A sweet perfume like roses permeates
A sunny view of life that always brings in flair.

Cheerfulness is life's distinct pizzazz
A dancing mood, a musical joy of feeling
Of all human emotions, it is real jazz!
So fun to feel and so very uplifting.

And the wonderful thing for us to realize
Cheerfulness in one we don't need to spend on
It's always free and comes in many a size
Each day, in as many colors you can try on!

I love it! The cheerfulness shines through! I really like the association with the muscial feeling akin to jazz (one of my favorite musical idioms) Jazz expresses true emotions as it is not 'locked into' set adaptations of bars, notes, etc., etc. (It don't mean a thing, if ain't got that swing!) You've got that swing! -David.
