Chasm Poem by Mary Daly

Chasm

There's a Paul-shaped hole in the Universe,
Sucking in all positive things.
I am drained of of all happiness.
My feelings no longer soar on wings.

Maybe someday someone else will come,
But for now I'm on my own,
My friends help me, some know how I feel,
From their own situations they have grown.

But for now there's a Paul-shaped hole in the Universe
And I am on my own.
