Happiness Poem by Mary Daly

Happiness

Someday I will be happy,
At the moment my life is bleak,
Still, hope still lives on,
The sun is accessible,
And humanity is just around the corner,
Almost ready to touch,
Instead of miles away,
Out of reach.
To hold someone once again
Is now an attainable goal,
Hopefully I can fill my now empty soul.
And venture outside to a new adventure.
