Catching Night Poem by Alex Mars

Catching Night

Rating: 5.0

The air sinks through your grips
Heavy wind, soft glow
The moon illuminates your lips
Beneath your feet the grass blades flow

Direction is lost
All feeling gone
The night is long, at no cost
Only a moment of time, for nothing is wrong

I feel the sky, the moon, the air
I see the darkness, the light, the care
I've finally done, I've won the fight
I've finally done it, I've caught the night
