Cartels Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Cartels

Cartels

Wise or dumb I drove
-for distance, very long
-and met him…
-in my hand a poem
-Two pages, two-lay-out
-which made four…
-can be called an epic…

Was sure that he could see
-Kerman and Rostam and
-White-Demon, with Homa
-we share its history, heroes, deeds…

Can say that I was wrong…
-he thinks that we are pawns…
-all people of our kind
-confidence in himself he has lost…
-to him politics and passage
-is planned and written by cartels…
-and this is what I hate
-he is deep in whirlpool of the Whites
-who wants us, the Blacks and Browns
-Third nations, old people, historic…
-to believe in mystic…not ourselves…
-'No, no, no…' I resist
-this is too patriarch, fanatic…
-of the faiths and kingdoms, emperors
-'I am free and proud…'

Don't tell him:
-'Though am poor, have no roof
-no carpet, short of food…'

My breathe, food and life
-all gathered, united is column
-of my life, in form of freedom
-let come death…have no time
-as said Che to great Jean Paul Sartre
-when meeting at midnight
-to be sure and exact, two o'clock:
-'Your honour…have no time…'
