ive never really understood what it meant
why we have to go through so much to get it
and sometimes, not get it at all
we die a thousand times and the pain is endless
and what do we do to avoid it
nothing, except to carry on with something that isn't wanted
constantly being over looked is something we're used to
and never being the one thats wanted to be seen is getting old
but we will never get rid of the thing that makes us hold on
our efforts will be pointless and our feelings will not matter
theres that little voice that seems to over power your need
a need that is bigger than the world, and a want that is unavoidable
the voice is all you have but you cant heed it
'let go. you will survive.'
but we cant, we are filled with false hope
letting go is not in us, and neither is surviving
