She told me to call her Donnah
And I did not know why,
That was the name of my ex wife
Who had cheated on me and did lie.
I remember as though it was yesterday
As once again that sad memory begins to unfold,
I was finally in love again after a decade
With a woman who I loved to kiss and hold.
I went over to my girlfriend's house
And she was furiously and wouldn't let in,
I had brought her both food and drinks
So, that she would feel better once again.
Forever it took her to answer her door
When she did, she was wearing nothing more than a towel,
Then she told me to leave her house immediately
I thought, was she the fox on the prowl.
She has always talked to me about her exes
The three devils she always repeated,
And how her children were conned by them as well
And unto her they all had lied and cheated.
I myself had divorced a mean and a cheating wife
Then my girlfriend came to my happy relief,
We lived together as a newlywed man and wife
She removed all my pain and grief.
She had fixed and mended my broken heart
But, then one day my soul lost its nirvana,
My girlfriend caused me instant pain and suffering
When she told me to call her Donnah.
