Cadences Of Sorrow Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

Cadences Of Sorrow

Rating: 5.0

As I ponder over and over
I find some popular tools
driving away mundane sorrows
Can anybody visualize the simile.......
the steam in the boiling water
the water in the melting ice
the dry leaves flying in the gusty wind
the cascades of water in the waterfall
the dissolved salts in the sea water
the mowing of crops in the paddy fields
the ginger paste in the grinding machine
the breaking of the hard coconut
Let those feelings banish the sorrows.
