Broken Smile Poem by Marlene Rashidi

Broken Smile

It used to exist,
but now it's gone.
My smile you invaded,
My happiness you divided.
You're hate is like an attack,
Away from you I try to run from.
You did all you best to reply my love
in a ugly way. You're the sour part of my
life. The bitter part of my heart is you and only
you. You broke it, destroyed my smile; told it lies,
which made it run and fade away. I hold anger against you.
