Here, for you, I offer bits of my broken dreams.
Hark! dark despairs, from my sleepless realms.
Could you rid thee of me or stray away far.
Or ever forget, my malevolent heart's scar.
Your giggles, your smiles, breathe your color.
Look! I greedily gather these pearls, for succor.
With tears you had wept, close to my breast.
Here, see, dusky depths of a tattered chest.
If only your life's pieces, you bestow on me.
Here, I present the honorable price, for all to see.
Perfumed anointed, Oh descend to my side.
Here, I put forth in humility, my fragrant tide.
Love you like flowers, cherish you like a bud.
Here If I may, for your peace, is my solace's rud.
My warm embrace, wherever shall you find?
Here present I, sans reserve, my being my mind.
Say, venial angel, wouldn't you but accept?
This aged wine, in you heart to flow and reflect.

** dreams are but …dreams.
Exquisite............what more can I say except thanx for sharing.
dreams are always dreams...full n wholesome...we give them that broken status...even if one insists they're broken, they still retain that unique power to breathe life into us...
With tears you had wept, close to my breast. Here, see, dusky depths of a tattered chest. If only your life’s pieces, you bestow on me. Here, I present the honorable price, for all to see. How beautiful, romantic and graceful..I love this poem Saadat.
I greedily gather these pearls, written, thank you for sharing the poem with us
Congrats Sat of being chosen, but congrats too for a beautiful work here. Seal the broken dreams with golden patience...between the crack will be lines of future art of living...not scar anymore to look upon to.
