Broken Beyond Repair
Emptiness from within
Darkness my sin
Wanting to break free
But I can't you see,
I'm broken beyond repair
My soul not to spare
History repeats itself everytime
I can't see any light shine
My wish not to have pain
My wish to not be insane
My wish not to feel broken
My wish not to have a word spoken
My wish not to cry
But really my only wish is to die.
For this life, I have no more care
I am broken beyond repair.
It was a good idea to write about depression, so that you could at least define it. Possibly writing about the topic is cathartic (cleansing of emotion) also. 'Broken beyond repair'. I know where you are coming from. I enjoyed this poem.
