BOXER DOGS

Boxer dogs are my pride and joy
Full of bounce and life
Searching through woods
Sniffing at roots and trees
Cocking-legs to mark the spot.

Churchilian face, baleful eyes
Big paddy paws, floppy ears
Man's best friend personified
Boxer dogs are full of glee
Making life so bountiful with joy.

poet Percy Bysshe Shelley

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
