Blurry Poem by Timmy Tubbs

Blurry

My eyes are shut, sewn with pity
Only able to see my stars
Un-sew them for me
And I will show you yours

Look over there
That star is new
That ones ours
Only if you knew

My vision is blurry
But I can feel your fog
Your beauty pulls my love
I am water logged

My rope has snapped
I wonder how
You pulled to hard
What do I do now?

I’m still blurred
I’m still blurred

I know a knot
That will hold forever
But you know a blade
So why bother?

I stand confused, holding it end to end
I look to you
Where are you?
Where did you go?

I forgot how to tie my knot
And you believe me
You disappear beyond the fog
I am frightened

Where are you?
Who are you?
Will you come back to me?
I promise, I will not try to tie it again.
