Blues In A Sad Minor Key. Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

Blues In A Sad Minor Key.

'Tis what it is my friend
Roll with it, go softly
The sky is grey
Rain comes tumblin
My face is crying
Rain stained tears
I'm singin quietly
I don't know why
Singin with the wind
A soft sad minor key thing
All shivery
Just me and my harp
And this sad song
Sorta rolling with it,
Hummin along
Sad and not sad you know
Down through the lowlands
Up through the winding hills
Chasing the wind for its stories
Gathering up the loose ends
Tying them up with memories
Singin so low i'm moanin
Moanin so low I, m gone.
