Blue Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Blue

Rating: 5.0

A new blue came to my life
I have to embrace it I knew
Holy threads ran down the lane
In a stream of love and shame
have it all someone said
I stood still long afraid
Rainy nights I spent alone
Blue didn't leave me alone
One sight of that horrid bed
Pinched me in my bloody red
Gone in the wind a wish
Mingled to mud the cloud
One broken twig from some place
Aside kept a thorn on a plate
Never to turn in that pit
never to lie on that part
It saved so many souls
Yet my soul it not chose
One shadow of blue behind
I still stand alone timid
I know this blue shall turn
One day it shall colour my vein
One day red shall turn colouful
And blue no longer shall pain
