Blind Poem by Samantha Jenks

Blind

Tonight my heart is breaking my tears have fallen down. I need you now can’t you see. I want that love that happiness, that serenity. My deepest desire is for you to love and to hold me. Fix my broken soul fill me warm to the bones. Complexity at its finest a life is told. Truly its concise watch my every action, I’m aching for you in every move I make. How hard would it be to touch my flesh, give me comforting words? I’m turning to you all the other doors have closed. You see that heart worn on a sleeve take it it’s yours. What do I have to say to get an ounce. I give up on love, I’m surely f***ed for now. This girl use to be so independent and walk on her own. Now I’m much like falling faster and further. It has to be this way, mockery thrown back in my face. All those years I told I needed no one, I’m fine on my own, have come back to haunt me when I’m in my room lying helplessly alone. Trust, friendship, love be what I pray, I feel like I'm walking down empty streets on a cold desolate day. Be the light in the dark. Turn to me never leave my side. Give into me in my soul find your place, your home. Worlds apart was it meant to be this way?
