Black Mind Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Black Mind

Black Mind

It was in search for serenity
That she stood still.
Still the answers never responded to her questions.
She wasn't concerned about the world, only her.

Still it was in searching for
That she stood still.
Yet nothing mattered, nor the world.
She was not serene.

The answers lay deep in her heart
But would not make themselves be heard.
Her mind remained dark
And did her.

In her search for serenity
She discovered God.
She had a umbilical cord to him.
She was connected and so she was serene.

In her search for serenity She discovered God. She had a umbilical cord to him. She was connected and so she was serene Verily, those connected with God achieve It.
