Betrayal Poem by Sarah Child

Betrayal

Rating: 5.0

To you I entrusted my heart-my very soul
You were my lifeblood
And the reason my heart continued beating
When all else said it shouldn’t
I said I’d love you for all eternity

Instead you broke that bond-and shattered my heart
All those kind words-every smile
They were all a lie-just a childish illusion
You left my heart in pieces-and my mind in shock
You betrayed me in the worst possible way

I feel nothing-no more tears-no more anything
You stabbed me in the back
And ripped my soul apart
Everything is gone
Except the scars you left on my heart

Love is within us and never with another.............we should always spread love.....our physical aspects and our minds are totally different and we leave the physical body when we think astrally..............there is unending happiness if you think in these terms and comforting too........luv, arya
