Whenever you need me the most
To chase away your nightmares
And dry the tears from your face.

I’ll be here for you every step of the way
Whenever you feel like giving up
To whisper hopeful words into your ear
And to cheer you on from the sidelines.

I’ll be here for you every day
To hug you good morning and kiss you good night
To welcome you home with open arms and to hear about your day
And to love you no matter what.
