I wished that you would see me
in more than the usual way
Wished that you would see
underneath the paleness of my skin
and
beyond the green in my eyes
beneath
My shallow lights and empty shades
Wished
That you would look at me
and see
not what I seem
But what I see
Until I realized
I see none of that in you
beneath this writes is.................engraved with beauty.
