The Person I'Ve Become Poem by Old Teenage Poems

The Person I'Ve Become

Rating: 5.0

What am I but a sinner
On a pediestal of lies
A queen of false relationships
Of hatred and dispise

What am I but a soulless
A black hole of empty years
I am just a shell these days
A shell with all her fears

I am but a dropp of water
In an ocean of regret
Nothing in particular
Still I must say I bet

If you look inside yourself
Somewhere you will see
There's a reason to why I am this way
This is what you made of me

What am I but a sinner On a pediestal of lies... I am still sitting on that. What am I but a sinner...on a pedistal of lies...I'll have to think that one over. I do think it is amazing that you are so bold with your declarations. It's a boldness that's hard to find in something that comes out as 'ME. MY FAULTS, ' rather than 'THE WORLD'S FAULTS.' Even I am guilty of that myself... What am I but a sinner on a pedistal of lies... Wow.
