Old Teenage Poems Poems

1.

I fear not of tomorrow
The dark scares me not
I am not full of sorrow
Although I've weeped a lot
...

Dreams of the future
I hold in my hand
Like pebbles or stones
Or an ocean of sand
...

3.

Love is the
Answer
to questions
we must Never
...

There's something about brown eyes
That fills me up with butterflies
They make me all giggly, for god's sake
Your eyes make me shiver and shake
...

What am I but a sinner
On a pediestal of lies
A queen of false relationships
Of hatred and dispise
...

Someone once told me
'It's a human right to speak your mind'
But if you pay a fee
It's easier, you'll find
...

Wars, deaths and destruction
Suffering everywhere I look
And no matter how much we gave
it was never as much as they took
...

Nighttime sparkling
Wet leaves in yellow light
It seems that all is gone
Yet still is my despise
...

Would you listen to me
For I have something to say
Would you embrace my words
...

There was something
inside you eyes
That held me captive
Although we said
...

And as we grew older
Childhood became so distant
We were too busy being
great, being brilliant
...

12.

But the sun also rises
towards yet another day
And the sun does not fear
Come what may
...

I wished that you would see me
in more than the usual way
Wished that you would see
underneath the paleness of my skin
...

There is a madness
Inside us all
That touches our surface when
we are this hurt
...

We once walked hand in hand
But somewhere you fell behind
Took a diffrent turn, made a diffrent choice
But you were always on my mind.
...

Being your self
Even when it's not neccesairy, when it's not
required.
Even when the world's not
...

There's been times in life when destruction's fed on my breath
And darkness seemed to be my only friend
When I thought I hit rock bottom
And I was finally closing up with the end
...

Wanting more of life
Than to live from dust to dust
Trying to truly live
Never neglegating love to lust
...

19.

It was the love for the quiet objects
that was the passion for me
The caress of not a human
but a books words, a records tones
...

According to you,
America is the home of the lord.

Fear

I fear not of tomorrow
The dark scares me not
I am not full of sorrow
Although I've weeped a lot

What I fear is not on paper
There are no words big enough
I am not a hater
Although this world can be so tough

What I fear is much deeper
It is not simply cold or hot
What makes me a weeper
Is the fear of loosing all I've got

It's the fear of fear itself
That keeps me up at night
The fear of fear itself
Is what keeps happiness out of my sight

It's the fear of putting all plans on the shelf
That makes me afraid of loosing my very self

The fear of scaring away
Who I am inside
Is what makes me
So afraid I hide

Anyone who questions your talent based on age is a fool. You have a bright future ahead of you, keep writing.

When I am looking for a poem, my heart and mind are at peace, and I am in a contemplative mood. I DO NOT EXPECT, WANT OR DESIRE CONFOUNDED WAR GAMES SENDING MY NERVES INTO A STATE OF SHOCK. IF YOU DON'T KNOW THAT BY NOW, TO AND DO SOMETHING ELSE WITH YOU STUPID BRAIN
