Beholding His Face? Poem by john raymond

Beholding His Face?

Jesus said you can not see heaven
In less you have the faith of a child
How do you do this in life
Jesus said I only do what
I see my father doing in heaven
I cry out how do you do this?
I see with eyes of the flesh
Hear with ears of flesh
feel with hugs & kisses of the flesh
Speak & taste with the tongue of flesh
Yet Jesus died in the flesh for my sin
After Jesus rose the third day
He went to heaven God's throne
To see God's throne & love the Father
He raises the poor from the dust
Lifts the needy from the ash heap;
He seats them with princes
Has them inherit a throne of honor.
For the foundations of the earth are the LORD
But about the Son he says, 'Your throne,
O God, will last for ever and ever,
The righteous will be the scepter of your kingdom.
Let us then approach the throne of grace
With confidence, so that we may
Receive mercy and find grace
To help us in our time of need.
How can we ask to see this glory?
To ask our Father in spirit not by flesh
So in my mind i see a white room
Seated on a gold throne is a man of bright light
I desire to look upon my Fathers face
Siting on his lap as his loving child
I look down to the woman I desire
wearing army fatigues standing before God
I jump off his lap looking in to her eyes
God says your desires are my desires!
As both man and woman stand before God
My flesh cry's to behold that beautiful vision
For by him all things were created:
Things in heaven & on earth,
Visible & invisible, whether thrones
Or powers or rulers or authorities;
All things were created by him and for him
But was it from God or the evil of my heart?
You said in your heart,
'I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
On the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.
I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.'
Do I make my dream like Satan above God!
O morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
You who once laid low the nations!
But you are brought down to the grave,
To the depths of the pit.
Those who see you stare at you,
they ponder your fate:
'Is this the man who shook the earth
Made kingdoms tremble,
The man who made the world a desert,
Who overthrew its cities
Would not let his captives go home? '
Or should I stand humble thanking God
For all He has given me
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
His ears are attentive to their prayer,
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil.'
Trust the Lord who face is unseen
Even in my dreams I cant see his face!
doubt can destroy a child's faith
never put your self above the Lord you God
You are his child who he desires to hold
