Behind Bar To Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Behind Bar To

Behind bar

"Hey, you" harsh voice broke my chain
I was deep in thoughts and with pain
Why did I accept the bribe?
The sin definitely did strike

I looked at jailor
He was calling me with anger
I got up immediately
And rushed for call lately

Why do you not listen to?
He was raging in anger even
This is not your home
He went on pouring vent and I really welcomed

He was good at heart
Only he had to play his part
Very pious and religious minded as he was
He looked at my face and paused

I opened memory pages
How was I living in luxury in this young age?
Everything was at my disposal
But I was discontented individual

Finally, they hooked me while accepting bribe
There was going to be dark in life
I was pushed into dark dungeon
I was simply pushed behind bar and thrown
