Beguiling Glass Poem by Birgitta Abimbola Heikka

Beguiling Glass

Through the glass little Bola recited
she saw a snake small with a tail fluffy.
Inside, she reached, to pet tenderly
this hybrid strange but it hopped swiftly
to the side opposite.
Then, she saw a man with a face lean
playing with his whiskers green
Caution! He warned
For you see through the glass that
beguiles.
