Beautiful World Poem by GORDON BUTCHERS

Beautiful World

Rating: 4.5

Beautiful world
Of blue white and green,
From outer space
Such a lovely scene.

With endangered species
Now so rare,
Where man is destroying their habitat
As if without a care.

The forest are shrinking
Cut down for wood,
Once it is all lost
It is probably lost for good.

Polluting the oceans
No ozone layer to cover the sky,
Ice caps melting
Rivers run dry.

Radioactive waste
Poison our seas,
Acid rain
Killing the trees.

Very sad, but it's also very true, Gordon!
