I've waited my whole life for my life to begin.
Praying for someone to come along
And make my life extraordinary.
They do come, those people,
Their beauty shining so fiercely from the inside,
Anyone could see.
But people slip in and out of life,
No matter how fiercely I try to keep them,
Loving them
But despretley, secretly hoping I may learn to be like those people,
Rare and precious as gems.
And right before I speak I wonder: is this really what I want to say?
Or is it just another ordinary girl
Stuttering out her ordinary words that seem so small
