The beauty of such love is purity
Marked from birth with unselfish giving
A love so familiar to you and me-
The love that showed us, life's worth living.

It's the love that gave us the strength to reach
Our youthful dreams and our human goals
The same love that guided, prayed to beseech
Our joys and happiness, our fullness of soul.

When we think of beauty, it's a mother's love.
All its desires were meant for our best-
They may have gone on to God above
Still their memories give us comforting rest.
