Beautiful Day

A beautiful day
Out in the sun
Doing chores
Getting things done
Counted my blessings
As I gazed at the sky
No more rain
I'm a happy guy
Grand-kids came
We played catch in the yard
Living so easy
Nothing seemed hard
Perfect it was
And I stopped to rest
Thanked the Lord
For making it one of his best
This beautiful day
