Autumn Leaves (Revisiting) Poem by Unwritten Soul

Autumn Leaves (Revisiting)

Rating: 4.9

The falling leaves, drift by my window
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see the shadow, (of) the passing years
The warm smile on my face, i used to hold

My mind bring you alive again, november call
Here im rewriting old winter's song
As time ripen the green, your face recalled

When autumn leaves, start to fall (3x)

In another version i
Add 'Reliving moments once again, my dear friend
When autumn leaves start to fall (3x) '

Autumn Leaves (Revisiting)
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I rewrote old song n plan to sing This is not a poem but a song which i rewrote,80% of the lyrics were changed. Not that i have competing interest indeed i feel inspired with the song especially the melody. I rewrote this with my vision of my friends everywhere in the world, n hopefully relatable to all because everyone has friends n memories together... with my own version... The original song named 'Autumn leaves'. I just discovered this song recently so my creativity crave to do something for my post in december, here im rewriting an old song. Credits to all original songwriters, i appreciate you guys. I sing the song here not as attempt to be a singer, i know im far for that but im trying to deliver my own lyrics with the same melody, plz excuse my voice, but just focus on interpretation of the delivery/message. Imagine u listen to the singer like Eric clapton (he covered it) but with my lyrics. November call here just to give time n background setting. Time ripens the green just my way to express the intense of memory if that make sense to u hahaa...

Loved this song. I think, it suits Indian music as well. I don't sing but I do enjoy listening. So, once you set to music, kindly share it with us. Thank you.
