Autumn Leaves Poem by Mustafa Marconi

Autumn Leaves

Rating: 4.0

Autumn leaves raining down
The wind gently blowing eastward
Embracing my soul
As the sun caresses my body
On a warm and tranquil summer day
I stare up at the heavens
My eyes fixated on miles of white pillows
Slowly easing over the sea
Where spirits journey westward
Yearning peaceful moments
Like this one;
Extending my arms
As if sharing all of my love
With every flower, every heart
And every essence
I squeeze and savor the moment
For in a minute I’ll continue my chores
As Autumn leaves continue to fall
