AUM is not a word but a symbol.
It contains three transcending sounds.
A, U, M is pronounced each at a length,
With pran (air)raising from the belly
With A, travelling through the throat with U
And oozing out from the nostrils with M.
To spell AUM is to sing a music sound.
It is the unifying sound that binds
Soul and body or matter and energy
Or the manifest and the unmanifest.
Say AUM for sometime in squatting posture
And experience tranquility within.
