Attention Poem by Bobby Pask

Attention

I've fallen for
Someone off limits.
I want you more
Than anyone who fits.

You've grasped my
Undivided attention.
I feel as though I'll die
Without your affection.

I've confused you
With my riddles.
You don't know who
Causes giggles.

It's a fight
To not profess it.
It's not right
To feel this hit.

I've felt so much
Just from messaging.
To feel your touch
Would be very engaging.

I need help to
Get past the emotion.
The feeling is so
Much like locomotion.

I have given a hint
For you to see.
Like starting a fire with a flint
And steel.

Dodging inquiries
Is so tough.
I am running out of tries
I feel so rough.

I need you now
And in the future.
I don't know how
I can feel so sure.

I'm sorry
For this situation.
I constantly worry
To lose your attention
