As Breeze

As breeze sways
the leaves of the
tree so do you
rock me and my heart
with your magnetic
gentleness.
The uppercase
of the words
scorches me,
and burns like
fire and acid....
But, I listen
to the piper's
tune of forlorn song.
Which tune you love
to play and from
where I don't know.
But, my sky gets
bright putting aside
the clouds and
awards me the
serenity of true
heart-hugging love
when silence
leaves me alone.

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

A little while a little love
The hour yet bears for thee and me
Who have not drawn the veil to see
If still our heaven be lit above.
Thou merely, at the day's last sigh,
