Another Loss Poem by Scott Salmon

Another Loss

I feel as you look down on me,
No longer do you care,
I sense there is no friendship now,
It is more than I can bare.
Too many months have passed us by,
A lifetime full of tears,
Two simple hearts both searching for,
A way to pass the years.
The longer with my heart grows fond,
With others grows decay,
To you my love so many days,
No longer will you play.
I speak one word that brings a smile,
to all that I have met,
But when that word goes in your ears,
A fury you then let.
I cherish friends for many years,
The old ones there are few,
I think about how much I grieve,
To loose a friend like you.
