An Old Man Ventures Far From Home Poem by Shalom Freedman

An Old Man Ventures Far From Home

Rating: 5.0

Lost in the silence
Of where I am
Far from where
I want to be
I long for home

I have ventured too far
For someone of my age
And yet
What am I to do?

I am already on the way
Dreaming of my return
Before I have arrived.
