An Image So Complete Poem by Ernestine Northover

An Image So Complete

Rating: 4.5

A waterfall becomes one continuous flow,
Tumbling down the hillside, to rocks below,
Sending up a spray of such luminous mist,
Showering the whole of nature, which is kissed
By droplets of jewels, each one sparkling bright,
Resting on leafy branches, such a sight.
Watching this beauty, it can cast a spell,
And keep you mesmerized, if on it you dwell,
For with such power, it cascades with endless might,
Sweet water gushing, in its unceasing flight.
A spectacle, a vision, an image so complete,
Connected to a rainbow where its waters meet.

Thus we see the completeness of God in the completeness of nature, you so richly evoke. The rhyme and rhythm are soothing, well done.
