An Enchanting Mermaid -Part 1 Poem by Jean Dament

An Enchanting Mermaid -Part 1

Rating: 4.7

A lovely mermaid rests upon a solid rock bathing in the sun's light,
Often though she's hidden in the shadows of twilight,
Cloaked by the fog & mists from the temperal, calm sea,
She sits & ponders if a real person she could possibly be,
She lets the wind blow her blazing, red hair that charms;
While feeling protecedt & safe from harm,
This whimsical being loves to taunt & tease the many sailors travelling through,
Who are left perplexed out on the deep waters of blue;
While they are out looking for gold & treasure,
She will allow them a brief respite from their work & leave them some pleasure,
This enchanting mermaid is a rare sight to behold;
And thus part of this story is now told.
