Having A Bad Day Poem by Jean Dament

Ever had a bad day where nothing goes right;
And it seems that light has suddenly turned dark & into night,
Each thing that you try becomes such a fight for life;
Where everything feels so frightfully full of strife,
One is put to the test to be patient & calm,
But it's difficult when everything seems to be going wrong,
It takes an extra effort just to survive,
These long days of woe weighing us down forcing us to strive,
Still one asks why oh! why,
One has to go through these bad times once in awhile,
We wonder....but later we'll look back on it feeling stronger & able to
smile.
