An Abused Life Poem by Randy McClave

An Abused Life

Most women want to be treated like a Queen
But, then there are those women who wants to be treated mean,
They want to be punched and kicked and belittled and cursed
And they always expect to be treated the worst.
They do whatever that their man tells them to do
And while they are crawling on their hands and knees they say, "I love you",
They are their man's constant and most obedient slave
Sadly many of those abused type of women are now 6 feet in the grave.
Whatever her man's commands or beliefs are she believes it is the law
And for him she is ready to beg, and plead, and crawl,
All the decisions in their relationship he will always make
And in a heartbeat she is the first one that he will always forsake.
For her he will always do all of the decision making and thinking
Especially when they both are out dining and drinking,
For him she must always please and atone
And he believes that she has no mind or thoughts of her very own.
She wears the clothes that he wants her to wear
And it's the very same thing with the style and the color of her hair,
She becomes the woman that he wants her to be
And she doesn't want to become the woman that others do see.
If she makes a mistake she believes that she should be hit
That's the first rule of their relationship that she will readily admit,
And one belief of hers which is so very sad and grim
He says that he can easily live without her, but she can't live without him.
She will live this type of sad and abused life for years to come
But, after years of abuse and pain and suffering she will leave that bum,
And finally when her true Prince Charming does come along
She's afraid to greet him, because she is now black and blue with a cast on.
