Amber Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Amber

Rating: 5.0

Amber

Of colours like amber
-among lights,
-name of girls
-and when is in beer

I like it in beer
-when is cold
-when bubbles
-in glass and bottles
-amber thins, thickens

They takes me to
-Tahoe
-and Folsom
-and snows of Reno
-and friends
-Johnny Cash
-twenty five

They relive nakedness
-and diving crazy
-into the cold water
-aware of nasty girls
-hide and seek
-watching us

Like amber in beer
-when bubbles
-in glass frozen
-with pizza
-and server
-in black wears smile
-of the girls; Californian

Like amber and those days…

Once in awhile a little indulgence in the fermented ambrosia is what some people need. A good ode to beer, as part Irish I approve.
