Whenever you are near,
My heart will tell me so,
Your fragrance haunts my mind,
When you're close I always know,

If I fall asleep at night,
I see you in my bed,
When I wake I feel your heart,
I remember what you said,

Your words are burned into my soul,
Like a tattoo on my heart,
I look inside and find you there,
We can never be apart,

You may go and drive away,
To the other side of town,
But you're still here inside of me,
For you I'm always down,

A simple fact for all to know,
I want for you to be,
A happy girl with smiling eyes
So good for all to see.
